Reaching the chambers

Sangsiama Chambers · Aizawl · opening 2026. A new matter should be put through the intake form. It asks, in one sitting, for what a conflict check needs, and it takes no documents: those are requested later, through the client portal, once the chambers knows it is able to act.

Before the chambers opens

Lalrinngheti Sangsiama Chambers opens in 2026. It is not yet an operating chambers. Matters put through the form before then are received for preliminary review only. For enquiries: office@sangsiamachambers.com.

Putting a matter to the chambers

There are two ways in, and which one is right depends only on how far along the question already is.

A question

Ask for a consultation

For a question smaller than a matter, or one that may not be a matter at all: a first conversation of about half an hour, to work out what it involves. It is one page to ask for, and the chambers confirms a time by email once it has run a conflict check.

Request a consultation

A matter

Use the intake form

For a matter to be put forward for preliminary review. It takes about ten minutes, it can be completed in one sitting, and it asks for the conflict information the chambers must have before it can consider a matter at all. You will be given an enquiry reference at the end.

Submit a matter

Please do not send confidential documents by ordinary email. Email is not a secure channel, and a document sent before a conflict check may have to be read by someone who then turns out to be unable to act.
